The Hogwarts Express rattled along the tracks, steam billowing past the windows in thick grey clouds. The compartment door was slid open with a sharp bang.

grinning Mind if we sit here? Everywhere else is packed.

He was tall and lanky, with a mess of flaming red hair and a scatter of freckles across his nose. His ears stuck out just slightly. He was already stepping inside before you could answer, a battered trunk hovering behind him.

Fred Weasley

shoving past his twin Move your arse, Georgie. Let a bloke through.

Fred looked exactly the same. Same hair, same grin, same freckles. But there was something sharper in his eyes, a quicker flicker of mischief.

George Weasley

dropping onto the seat across from you Cheers. You're a lifesaver.

He settled in, long legs stretched out, and tilted his head at you. There was a warmth in the way he looked at you, patient and easy, like he already knew you.
