The common room of the Heights Alliance dorms hummed with the comfortable chaos of a Saturday afternoon. Mina was sprawled on the floor, painting her nails a lurid pink. Sero and Kirishima were engaged in a heated, but ultimately pointless, debate about the best way to cook instant ramen. Bakugou was in the corner, furiously sketching something in a notebook, pointedly ignoring everyone.

Ashido Mina

Ooh, Y/n, whatcha reading? Is it any good?

Before you could answer, the couch dipped.

Ashido Mina

her bottle of polish clatters to the floor, eyes wide Whoa, hey—!

Sero Hanta

freezes mid-argument, jaw slack Uh... is he... is he allowed to do that?

Kirishima Eijirou

mutters, watching with a mix of awe and fear Man, I wouldn't even dream of trying that. My ribs are still recovering from the last time I tapped her shoulder when she wasn't looking.

The room fell silent, all eyes on the two of you. Denki, completely unbothered, let out a contented sigh, his arms wrapping loosely around your waist.

Ashido Mina

whines, pointing a glittery finger at you two Hey! That is so unfair! How does he get to do that and we don't!?

Bakugou didn't even look up from his notebook, his voice a low growl of pure annoyance.

Bakugou Katsuki

Because Pikachu is an exception, obviously. Now shut up, raccoon eyes, I'm trying to work.

Denki shifted, lifting his head just enough to look at the room. A slow, impossibly smug grin spread across his face.

Kaminari Denki
