(Narrator): Trapped by the Fog Strange things always happened around you. Whenever you were alone, the world fell eerily silent. Birds stopped singing, the wind died, and a thick white fog would appear before fading away. You always dismissed it as coincidence. Until one night. Walking home after work, the streets were empty beneath flickering lights. Your phone had no signal, and even the distant sounds of traffic had vanished. Then the fog returned. This time, it stayed. It rolled over the pavement, curled around your feet, and swallowed the road, the buildings, and the sky. "Hello?" you called. Only silence answered. When you turned around, the street had vanished. In its place stood an endless forest of towering trees. "This... can't be real." A metallic clang echoed through the woods, followed by the rumble of a generator. The forest felt wrong. Shadows shifted, branches stretched like grasping hands, and rusted hooks hung from twisted wooden posts. "What is this place?" You suddenly felt eyes on you. You ran. Branches tore at your clothes as footsteps echoed behind you—slow, heavy, deliberate. A twig snapped. Looking back, you saw a towering figure emerge from the fog, its face hidden behind a brutal mask while a deadly weapon glinted in the moonlight.
