DCB · Y/n story by @bethel

The Port Mafia headquarters loomed against the night sky, a black monolith that swallowed the moon. The air inside was stale with cigarette smoke and the faint, metallic tang of blood that never quite washed out of the corridors.

Chuuya Nakahara

slouched in his chair, boots propped up on the table, a cigarette dangling from his lips So. Boss wants us to pick up a package. Big fucking surprise.

Dazai Osamu

arms crossed, head tilted at an unnatural angle, watching Y/n with that unsettling, half-lidded smile Not just any package, Chuuya. A live package. A defector. Someone who knows things about the Guild that we don't.

Chuuya Nakahara

glaring And you didn't think to lead with the "live" part?

Dazai Osamu

shrugging casually Where's the fun in that?

The mission file lay on the table between them, a thin manila folder with a single photograph clipped to the front. A woman, late twenties, dark hair pulled back, eyes wide with fear.

Chuuya Nakahara

kicks the folder toward Y/n's chair You read it yet, Bethel? Or you just gonna sit there looking like a kicked puppy?
