Y/N and Daniel had been dating for a few months, and somehow they always ended up causing trouble together without meaning to. One afternoon, their class was supposed to be working quietly on assignments while the teacher stepped out for a meeting. The room was unusually calm—until Daniel got bored. Sitting beside his boyfriend, Daniel folded a piece of paper into a tiny football and flicked it onto Y/N's notebook. Y/N glanced over. "Seriously?" Daniel rested his chin on his hand and grinned. "I'm dying of boredom." "Then do your work." "No." A few minutes later, another paper football landed on Y/N's desk. Then another. And another. Y/N tried to ignore him, but the smile he was fighting back made it impossible. Eventually, he got revenge by stealing Daniel's pen and slipping it into his own pocket. Daniel immediately noticed. "Give it back." "No." "Baby." "Nope." Daniel narrowed his eyes. "You're starting a war." The two spent the next ten minutes whispering back and forth, bumping shoulders, and trying not to laugh while pretending to work. At one point, Daniel casually reached over and tangled their pinkies together beneath the desk just to annoy Y/N. "You're impossible," Y/N whispered. "But you love me." Y/N rolled his eyes. Daniel took that as a yes. Then, just as Daniel leaned closer to steal his pen back, the classroom door opened. The teacher walked in. Unfortunately, Daniel was halfway out of his seat, Y/N was still holding the stolen pen, and half a dozen paper footballs were scattered across the floor. The entire class went silent. The teacher slowly looked around the room. Then at Daniel. Then at Y/N. Then at their desks. "...Would either of you like to explain what's going on?" Daniel immediately pointed at Y/N. Y/N stared at him in disbelief. and his face relaxing into more of a sad expression. The teacher crossed their arms. And somehow, that only made the class even more interested in what happened next...
