He doesn't wait for you to open it. He leans over the desk, his shadow falling across the fresh manila folder.

Hawks came through with some new intel. Says this one's behavioral patterns are... anomalous. Doesn't fit the standard molds. Needs a sharper eye.

He taps a blunt finger on the file.

This one requires your special attention. The threat level's spiking, and we have next to nothing on his background. I need you to crack him open. Find the lever.

As he turns to leave, you flip open the file. The first thing you see is a surveillance photo, grainy but sharp. A man with severe, purplish burn scars stapling pale skin together. And his eyes—a piercing, cold blue—are staring directly into the camera lens, as if he knew exactly where it was hidden.
