Y/n’s mom and the Sturniolo’s mom have been best friends since they were in grade school. Each summer the y/l/n family goes to Boston and stays with the sturniolos. The boys, the triplets and y/n’s older brother, are a few years older so y/n usually feels left out. The last few years she’s stopped trying to hang out with them at all and goes out to do her own thing, she’s made a few friends who are excited each year when she visits.
