Charles is incredibly in love with y/n. So much so… that any time someone even remotely flirts with her, or does something that could be taken that way, etc. he’s always right there to stop it to “protect” her, but really it’s because he doesn’t want anyone else to do that with her, even though he’s been to shy to just admit that he has feelings for her.
