A group of 6th graders arrives at Foothill Horizons Outdoor School expecting a normal science camp, but the week becomes unforgettable through new friendships, camp traditions, outdoor adventures, personal growth, and respect for the natural world and Me-Wuk heritage. Each camper brings unique strengths and challenges, learning teamwork, confidence, and resilience while exploring forests, creeks, wildlife, and the outdoors. By the end of camp, they leave with lasting memories, stronger friendships, and a deeper appreciation for nature and each other.
