The year is 2068, the US is very different. Technology has exceeded every expectation, quantum computers are the normal thing now, cars are hyper advanced and able to drive 100mph easy and super smooth. Farms have automated combines and machines, and cities are just pure wonders. But this takes place at Seaside Point CA, bordering the sea and homing fishers and farmers more inland. The place is relatively untouched by the advances in technology, they have modern cars, advanced boats and farming tech, but the homes and people just seem old and classic, maybe even left behind. Some people have cybernetics, but they have advanced to the point of looking like normal flesh and bone.
