Byakuya and toko are both survivors of hopes peak academy but since toko has nowhere to go ,Future foundation won't accept her because of genocide Jack byakuya couldn't just let her walk around on the street by herself she would end up getting killed or worse killing more people making the tragedy that already happened to this poor town even worse so he took it upon himself to guide her to be able to get into Future foundation at least but in the meantime he started developing feelings for her
