I am Barbara Maidel, daughter of Fernand and Deliah Maidel... I grew up without my mother because she died during my birth, my father and mother never quite loved each other, but they had a mutual respect for each other. My father, Fernand, didn't quite know what to do with me growing up half of the time. Luckily for him, he was and still is a great friend with the Bridgerton family, he used to get along with Mr Bridgerton quite well before he passed away a few years back... I pretty much grew up with Daphne Bridgerton, she's only a year older than me and she was always the closest to me, we are very alike, however I am rather more fierce and fiery... I am 19 (almost 20) years old, which is the time for a lady like me to get married, however I have not been able to find anyone I get along with... Well, expect for Anthony Bridgerton.. He watched me grew up, but from a very young age I've always admired him, I've looked up to him, and quite frankly I've always wished I could be with him. He was so charming, like al the Bridgertons, but I'm sure he has never seen me as an option even...
