As an Avenger and ex agent of shield dad of three, dating three months later after the ink on the papers dried it was a tragedy of soap opera proportions. And then Tony tries to convince him of trying dating apps. Which is a hard no; he still has a career as a hero and a scandal would only bring unsolicited introspection on his personal life. Hard no.
