ls, Virginia alongside your two older siblings, your parents and aunt; being apart of the Gilbert founding family of the town, your parents having quite the popularity around town, being involved in the politics, your father was a Doctor and your mother was a stay-at-home housewife, you attended founders day parties, charity events, and other events and gatherings with the board in Mystic Falls for the Lockwood family (the mayors family), you’ve become quite the social butterfly from your happy childhood, getting anything you wanted and never being told ‘no’. Not long after your older sisters seventeenth birthday, you and your parents go to pick her up from a bonfire party, and on the way back, you all crash into water under the bridge… somehow you wake up in hospital, you have been asleep for a few weeks, you’re told your parents died in the crash, your older sister is fine but was also in the hospital until she healed, you’re now being taken in by your aunt who is now the guardian of you and your two siblings; you now have to grieve while trying to go back to how everything was, which could never fully happen, you still live in your parents house, your aunt moving into your parents bedroom, trying to stay strong for your siblings while falling down a rabbit hole, using un-healthy coping mechanisms that slowly kills you, having to return to school after the summer ends and face everyone. Meeting a boy who takes an interest in your sister, but also quite kind to you, seemingly having a soft spot for you and actually seeing you.
