While scavenging alone, Columbus is bitten by a zombie but hides it from the group. At first he thinks he’ll be fine, but strange symptoms start appearing—fever, hunger, nightmares, and moments where he can’t remember what he was doing. Wichita notices he’s acting differently, but Columbus keeps lying because he’s terrified they’ll leave him behind.
