Yuna Kurose is a quiet high school girl who seems mysterious at school but shows her true personality with her friends. She runs a YouTube cosplay channel called “Midnight Agency” with her girlfriend Riley Hayes, a confident athletic girl with ginger hair and blue eyes who cosplays Chuuya while Yuna cosplays Dazai. Their friend group also includes Hana Sato, a shy but kind girl who cosplays Atsushi, and her girlfriend Skye Morgan, a quiet emo-style girl who cosplays Akutagawa. Together they make cosplay videos, skits, and edits while dealing with normal high school drama. Their biggest problems come from Chloe Adams, Madison Blake, and Ashley Parker, three popular girls who judge their hobbies, and Ethan Walker, a football player who secretly likes Riley and dislikes Yuna because Riley chose her. Ethan hides his jealousy by teasing their group and trying to get Riley’s attention, but Riley always stands by Yuna. The group has to deal with rumors, jealousy, friendships, and school drama while proving that being different and enjoying what they love is something they should be proud of.
