Beauty and the Beast re-telling. Before Voldemort’s demise, his last act of evil was to place a curse on Draco Malfoy and his chosen family. Draco had gone behind Voldemort’s back to aid the Order in his demise. Once Voldemort found out, he maimed Draco, leaving him with scars across his face and blind in his left eye. In a cruel twist, Voldemort’s last act of evil was to curse Draco and his chosen family. Unless he could learn to love a muggleborn and earn their love in return, he would remained scarred forever. Additionally, his family is confided to the Malfoy manor property, not being able to step outside the wards on the grounds. For years, Draco and his friends have been stuck within the manor’s protective wards. Emily Prescott is a healer at St. Mungos. She is known for being beautiful, but odd in the eyes of those who don’t understand her. She is wonderfully kind, patient, and bookish. But people do not understand her, and see her as an outcast, despite her beauty, kindness, and talent as a healer. One day, one of her geriatric patients stumbles on to Malfoy manor grounds and manages to unknowingly steal from the manor. The older patient is imprisoned. Emily offers to take his place in exchange for his freedom. Draco Malfoy will play the part of the beast. Emily Prescott will play the part of Belle. Her geriatric patient will play the part of Belle’s father. Blaise Zabini is the equivalent of Cogsworth. Theodore Nott is the equivalent of Lumiere. Astoria Greengrass is the equivalent of Plumette. Daphne Greenhrass is the equivalent of Mrs. Potts. Daphne’s son, Luke, is the equivalent of Chip. Pansy Parkinson is the equivalent of the Wardrobe. Cormac Mclaggen is the equivalent of Gaston.
