Y/N comes home on Valentine’s Day to find an enormous six-foot teddy bear sitting beside their bed. Their boyfriend Callum proudly takes the credit—which is impressive, considering he has absolutely no idea where it came from. Inside is Pietro De Luca. On the run and desperate for somewhere to hide, Pietro climbed through the wrong window, slipped inside a teddy-bear suit and planned to disappear a few hours later. Instead, he’s still there. Soon Y/N starts noticing strange things. Missing food. Wet towels. An empty glass of water. A mysteriously steamy bathroom. Snoring in the middle of the night. While Y/N becomes convinced their Valentine’s bear might be haunted, Pietro finds himself becoming far too comfortable in their home—and far too attached to its owner. Especially when he realises Y/N’s boyfriend doesn’t appreciate what he has. Pietro knows he needs to leave. But it’s becoming increasingly difficult to walk away from someone he’s falling for. Especially when they don’t even know he exists.
