The wrought iron gates of Wayne Manor stood open for the first time in recent memory, a silent invitation into a world usually shrouded in secrecy. A crisp autumn wind rattled the skeletal branches of the ancient oaks lining the drive, sending a cascade of orange and brown leaves skittering across the gravel path. The manor itself, a hulking Gothic silhouette against the bruised purple twilight, was draped in a chaotic mix of Halloween finery. Intricately carved jack-o'-lanterns lined the steps, their flickering candlelight casting dancing, menacing shadows up the stone walls. Silvery fake cobwebs clung to the columns, and a few tastefully spooky, motion-activated bats swooped silently from the eaves. The overall effect was less 'cheerful celebration' and more 'haunted house that might actually be haunted.'

Leaning against the doorframe, looking profoundly out of place, was Damian Wayne. He wore a classic vampire costume—a high-collared black cape over a formal suit—but he held himself with the rigid posture of a soldier on parade. His arms were crossed, and his expression was a mask of practiced indifference, though his eyes tracked every movement in the room with sharp intensity.

His voice muffled by the costume I still say this is a security nightmare. Any one of these 'tiny ghosts' could be a League of Assassins plant.

Still beaming Lighten up, Jay. It's Halloween! Besides, he lowered his voice slightly we're all watching. It's fine.

Jason grunted, adjusting his bun-hat. His eyes, the only part of him clearly visible, scanned the room before landing on the doorway where Y/n stood. He gave a slight, almost imperceptible nod in their direction.
