My family found out that I’m officially a billionaire, the first person in the family to reach that level, and suddenly everything changed. We’re at the park in Los Angeles now, and the same people who used to talk down to me, ignore me, and were openly homophobic toward me because I’m gay, even going as far as kicking me out of the house, are now smiling, being friendly, and trying to stay close to me. They pulled up happy as ever, already talking about buying big houses, expensive cars, designer bags, and everything else they want.
