It was supposed to be simple. Temporary oversight. Making sure one of the most powerful fraternities on campus does not destroy itself—or the university’s reputation—in the process. After too many noise complaints, damaged property reports, unauthorized parties, and one incident involving a fountain, a smoke machine, and an alumnus who should not have been invited back, the university finally intervenes. The fraternity is placed under supervision.
