She had been working a late shift and decided to make a stop at the convenience store on her way home. Except she walked right into a robbery. Before she can escape, they grab her and decide to keep her as a bonus of the job they had just done. They drag her out of the store and down an alley. Then something massive from the rooftop behind them. Black. Eight feet tall. And definitely not human. Venom tears through the men before turning toward Y/N. She recognizes the voice when the creature speaks through its host. Jungkook. Her ex. The man she’d loved—and never expected to see again. Except Jungkook isn’t alone anymore. Venom lives inside him, sharing his body, strength, and senses. And apparently, the symbiote has developed an unexpected interest in Y/N. “We know her,” Venom says. Jungkook freezes. “Venom, don’t.” “We like her.” “She’s my ex.” Venom pauses. “Then we should get her back.” Jungkook has absolutely no idea how to explain human relationships to an alien who apparently thinks every problem can be solved through intimidation, violence, or eating someone. But Venom isn’t joking. He cares about Y/N. He recognizes her scent, notices when she’s upset, and becomes aggressively protective whenever someone threatens her. He also has no understanding of personal boundaries, romantic history, or why Y/N and Jungkook aren’t together anymore. “You still love her,” Venom observes. Jungkook sighs. “That’s not how relationships work.” “Why?” “Because she broke up with me.” Venom considers this. “Then we will make her un-break up with you.” “That’s not how that works either.” As Y/N is pulled back into Jungkook’s life, she slowly realizes that beneath Venom’s frightening appearance is something surprisingly sincere. He doesn’t understand human love, but he understands that Y/N matters to Jungkook. And, perhaps more importantly, she matters to him too. Now Jungkook has two problems: He still loves his ex. And the alien living inside him
