Ashitaka, the last prince of the Emishi tribe, lives marked by a curse that slowly consumes his body after having defeated a boar god turned into a demon by hatred. Forced to leave his homeland in search of a cure, he embarks on a journey into unknown lands, where he discovers a world divided between human ambition and the rage of the forest gods.
