Raised to view airbenders as weak relics of the past, Y/N is sent to live beside the last surviving remnant of a people her nation nearly erased—and quickly discovers that peace is far more difficult than war. As tensions continue threatening the fragile balance between nations, Y/N struggles between the loyalty she was raised with and the person she is becoming within the Air Temples. Meanwhile, Aang carries the grief of genocide beneath his gentle nature, keeping careful distance from the woman tied to him by duty rather than love.
