Waking up with a cold start this morning wasn’t exactly what I had in mind when I went to bed last night. Well if you can call midnight “morning”. I wouldn’t, under normal circumstances, and buy circumstances I mean me not normally going to bed until it’s 1-2am. My sleep schedule still beyond messed up from my college classes. All I can remember is the fleeting visages of a dream, which tends to be most of my dreams if I have them at all. A video game, or something made up by my brain in sleep merging game realities to make something of its own. I can’t entirely tell. The black haired protagonist is familiar in a way I find almost unnerving. Like I should know him but I can’t place my tongue on it, familiar in a comforting manner. It didn’t matter, in the end I chalked it up to a reality that my brain carried over from past dreams and went back to sleep in hopes of waking up at a much more reasonable time. When I finally rolled out of bed in the morning all memory of the apocalyptic dream was gone from my mind, and him along with it.
