A human teen girl who works with conservation-focused good humans joins the Avatar Program in secret. She wakes up in the link pod inside her new Na’vi avatar body and is brought to the reef village, Awa’atlu. The Sully family is there, curious but quiet. Metkayina villagers watch her arrival. Aonung, a confident reef-clan teen about 7–8 feet tall, confronts her, teases her, and loudly asks why she was sent and why she’s in their home. The ocean seems to pause, waiting for her response.
