Everything begins on Coruscant, shortly after the victory over the Separatists, as the Republic tries to rebuild itself after the war. Anakin Skywalker, increasingly powerful but also increasingly tormented, is assigned to dangerous missions that constantly confront him with death and galactic corruption. His dreams of losing Padmé, now his secret love, consume him and fill him with anxiety.
