In a world of vampire and hunters set far away from the modern world, Charlie Worthing finds a way to collide the two in a way no one has ever attempted. She convinces her director at Huntress Academy to transfer to St. Vladimir Academy under a false persona in order to get better intel on vampires and where there weak spots are, making it easier for them to kill them. Selene Ducreux is quick to know she is not one of them, but nobody listens. They all insist she is jealous that someone is finally taking away her “queen bee” status. Charlie drives her MAD. Mad in indescribable ways. That built up fury eventually leads to an attack— a bite. But instead of it being The Kill, it’s The Binding. And that, goes against everything both of them stand for.
