Malachi and Evelyn are both TSA officers but have never crossed paths. Malachi started the job 5 years ago and is currently 25, he works at the checkpoint just like her. Malachi is great at his job but complains about the one thing every other TSA agent complains about. They can't have guns, it isn't just because they think they should, it's because of the amount of situations where a dangerous person with contraband is usually holding a firearm but they can't. It puts them in a massive amount of danger, even Evelyn has pointed this out. Eveyln is 25 as well, she started right after him, only a month later. She has good intuition and it's saved her from injury or worse countless times. Malachi grew up in L.A. but was sent to Boston Logan International Airport because they needed more male staff. Then Evelyn was moved from LaGuardia Airport to Logan because they needed more women staff. But even after all of this, they still didn't meet, or see each other. Until Today.
