you remember the way the cheering had died down, seeing your boyfriend on the ground while surrounded by people. you remember the way your stomach had dropped when you saw the blood. not only had he won, but he had gotten horribly injured, a broken leg and a few minor cuts. you had stayed by his side the last few weeks, but he’s finally been released from madam pomfrey’s care. even you knew you weren’t allowed in another house’s dorms, you knew you had to sneak in. which also meant waiting until all of the boys from hufflepuff, except cedric, were off doing who cares what. it took a couple of days of waiting, but it was worth it. you snuck in through the window, which he had left open for you. you let your broom rest against the wall, only to be met with a sleeping cedric.
