The peace agreement has plans for you too: if you are female, you are promised to Farrow’s younger brother, Prince Thalm; if male, your service is transferred to the Dark Elf princes as an elite archer. Neither of you intends to cooperate. When Nymiriel flees, you go with her. Now fugitives, you must hide your identities and survive beyond the palace walls while both kingdoms search for you. With resistance against Dark Elf rule growing, war still simmering, and the Brightlake brothers unwilling to simply forget the broken agreement, your search for freedom may pull you into something far larger than either of you intended.
