Veritaserum Roulette was supposed to be funny. One drink contains the potion. Nobody knows who gets it. Everybody asks questions. Simple. Harmless. Until Theodore Nott chooses the wrong glass. Theo is the most private person you know. He can spend an entire evening with people who have known him for years and somehow reveal absolutely nothing about himself. So naturally, the second everyone realizes he has the Veritaserum, they start asking questions. At first, it is funny. Then someone asks if he has ever been in love. Theo says yes. Still is. She is in the room. And when someone finally asks who— Theo looks at you. The next morning, you are hungover, confused, and desperately trying to decide whether you actually remember Theodore Nott confessing that he has loved you for years. Theo certainly is not helping. He acts completely normal. So you do too. At least, you try. Because once you have heard the truth, every little thing about Theo starts looking different. And pretending nothing happened becomes a lot harder when both of you remember exactly what did.
