{y/n} joins Forge Strength Club for one reason: to train. Then she meets Callum Hayes. Twenty-nine, ridiculously strong, annoyingly sociable and apparently incapable of walking through Forge without knowing half the fucking building. It starts with a packed gym and one question: “Mind if I work in?” Then it’s shared racks. Conversations between sets. Group nights out. Callum conveniently changing his training schedule. Flirting that doesn’t need months to become something more. And Callum is good at the beginning. He plans dates. Remembers little things. Makes effort. Knows exactly how to make someone feel wanted. The problem starts when he gets comfortable. Forgotten plans. Late replies. Questionable decisions. A naturally flirtatious personality he doesn’t always remember to adjust. And a man who passionately believes relationships require trust and independence—right until another bloke starts talking to {y/n} at the gym. Callum isn’t a terrible person. He might just be a fucking terrible boyfriend. And {y/n} isn’t here to teach a twenty-nine-year-old man how to be in a relationship. Callum understands that getting stronger takes consistency, effort and repeatedly showing the fuck up. Maybe it’s time he learns that relationships do too. Because nobody’s training him anymore. Training season is over.
