The late afternoon sun cut through the grimy windows of the cramped third-floor apartment, casting long, dusty stripes across the worn wooden floor. It was the kind of heat that made the air thick and slow, promising a summer that would stretch on forever.

He got up, barefoot, and trudged to the door. He yanked it open, ready to snap, but stopped short.

Kirishima Eijirou

grinning wide, hair spiked and slightly damp from the gym Yo! Bakugou! And… hey, Y/n! Didn't know you were here. You two having a secret hangout without me, huh? That's manly of you, real exclusive.

Kirishima leaned against the doorframe, a duffel bag slung over one shoulder, his gym clothes clinging to him. He looked between the two of you, his grin not faltering for a second.
