There are rules to working at the Fox & Crown. Turn up on time. Don’t piss off the kitchen. Never touch Finn Gallagher’s fucking bottle opener. And, preferably, don’t sleep with your coworkers. {y/n} is the newest member of a chaotic Manchester bar where everybody knows everybody’s business, Saturday nights are warfare and senior bartender Finn seems determined to make every shift approximately ten times more irritating than necessary. It starts with moved equipment, stolen pens, bar towels thrown across the room and arguments over who is standing in whose fucking way. Then somehow, between horrible shifts, staff drinks, closing together and far too many messages, Finn stops being just the coworker {y/n} wants to strangle. He becomes her friend. And sleeping with your friend who also happens to be your coworker? Bad idea, right?
