It’s October 1985, the sex pistols broke up ages ago (San Francisco 1978) and since then Steve Jones has been through a lot; first a failed trip to Rio to film a terrible movie, an addiction to Heroin, a new band The Professionals (with Paul Cook) coming to a horrible end due to Steve’s addiction and after a car accident in November 1981 (Steve wasn’t in the car accident but carries guilt), fleeing to New York and being a Junkie, creating another band called Chequered Past, moving to LA with them, but it coming to an end because he stole lots of Michael’s (the lead singers clothes), being left practically homeless.
