Y/n escaped the lab 6 years ago, fleeing south to Georgia where she posed as the granddaughter of a very forgetful woman. She thought she’d escaped all thoughts of the upside down, Brenner’s lab, and vecna. Until weird things start happening in Hawkins, Indiana and she can’t help but think she needs to go back. That the world cannot be saved without her powers. So she returns to Hawkins, posing as a normal transfer student. She becomes friends with the party, and is known around town as an amazing babysitter. She’s found children are the easiest to get information out of, and with her powers of emotional manipulation, she’s determined who she needs to speak to. Until one day when it’s use her powers or watch her friends die. She ends up fighting monsters, training her powers, and navigating love for the first time in her life.
