There are perks to being the only hero in Gotham. Perks that you currently can’t think of. You can only think of the downsides as you’re currently bleeding from a gunshot wound while trying to bust an arms deal. Like always, you manage to win, leaving everyone unconscious. But with how heavy your limbs are feeling, you might not be able to tie up everyone before the police get there. But that’s okay because the police will get there before they wake up. You’re then reminded of the persistent bleeding in your side. It’s a LOT of blood. You can especially tell because of your dizziness. You need to think and think fast. You can’t go to the hospital because someone might unmask you. You don’t know anyone who can patch you up, especially since the bullet is still inside you. There’s only one person who you know is wealthy enough to have an infirmary in their own house and skilled enough to save you. Thomas Wayne. Martha and Thomas Wayne are good people. Thomas is a respected surgeon and Martha is a socialite who has organized many charities. Who would be better to go to while you’re bleeding out? Thomas is a surgeon after all. And you’re sure you can probably pay them back by going to a few of Martha’s charity events to get people to donate even more money (since it would be bad press not to). So with the remaining strength you have left, you teleport to their front door and ring the doorbell. A few moments later, their butler, Alfred Pennyworth, opens it and says, “Good heavens!” and catches you as you become too dizzy to stand.
