Tenya Iida was beginning to suspect that he was losing his mind.

He wasn’t sure how much longer he could possibly endure this.

He was Tenya Iida, Class 2-A’s responsible class representative, an academic achiever, a disciplined student, and someone who had absolutely no time for distractions.

Romance? Relationships? Silly little crushes that made people act like they had forgotten how to function? He had far more important things to worry about.

And yet, here you were. Smiling at him, sitting beside him, talking to him as though you hadn’t somehow managed to turn his perfectly organized life upside down.

You were charming without even trying, completely unaware of the effect you had on him, and every little interaction left him feeling increasingly confused.

His heart raced whenever you came near, his face warmed whenever you complimented him, and sometimes he caught himself thinking about you when he was supposed to be concentrating on his studies.

Every single boy from Class 2-A was watching their class representative lose a battle against emotions he couldn’t even identify.

Then Denki slowly turned toward Kirishima.

Kirishima slowly turned toward Sero.

Sero slowly turned toward the ceiling, apparently asking for patience from a higher power.

Because while Tenya was busy treating his own feelings like an unsolved academic mystery, the answer was painfully obvious to everyone else in the room.
