In the cold outskirts of late-1980s Russia, seventeen-year-old Вика Иванова has learned not to expect much from life. Between gray apartment blocks, broken courtyards, family problems, and dangerous nights, she keeps her head down and survives. Андрей Белов, a quiet, hot-tempered boy from the same neighborhood, has always been nearby. He is protective, stubborn, and carrying problems of his own. As their paths become increasingly tangled, friendship slowly turns into something neither of them knows how to name. Together, they navigate jealousy, fights, family struggles, and the harsh reality of growing up while discovering that even in the darkest places, someone can become home.
