Joffrey was a cruel king, everyone knew it. His parents, mostly his mother, worried about him. His uncles thought he was a spoiled brat. His siblings wanted nothing to do with him, but he found Toby. He wasn't cruel or mean to Toby, he was like a puppy dog that had just found an owner, wagging his tail for him constantly. He would do anything for Toby, anything at all. He was madly in love. They say love makes you a fool, and it was true in his case. He was blindly in love. When the family found out about this, they were beyond surprised at Joffrey. They didn't know Joffrey could love anyone but himself. Of course, the Starks and the Baratheons had always had a good relationship. Toby's father and Joffrey's father were best friends, so the wedding was inevitable. Joffrey was over the moon, over the moon to get married to Toby and spend the rest of his life with him, to call Toby his husband. He had already stated that Toby would have equal power when they got married, not just a consort, but a king alongside him. His mother and father denied this request immediately, but it did not matter. Once Joffrey became king, it would be just as he wanted it to be, and Toby would be his right-hand man. Joffrey was two years older than Toby. He was 22 while Toby is 20.
