The fae realm is sealed behind an ancient veil, a living barrier that separates their world from the human one. It is not just a wall of magic, but something aware—something that chooses who may pass. Only rare messengers, marked by the veil itself, are ever allowed through. Humans are otherwise forbidden, seen as unstable and dangerous creatures, untouched by the binding laws that govern the fae. Beyond the veil lies a world that feels half-dream, half-wild—forests that breathe, rivers that whisper, and skies that shift color with the emotions of the land itself. Creatures of all kinds live under the rule of Y/N, the queen of the fae, many of them bound to her by ancient loyalty. Some are known as ment creatures—beasts that often resemble ordinary animals at first glance, foxes, birds, deer—but their eyes hold intelligence, and most can speak, acting as quiet watchers and servants of the crown. Alongside them are goblins, cunning and sharp-tongued, as well as other mythical beings—some beautiful, some monstrous, all tied to the magic of the realm.
