Marvels Junior Hero's GC
Gabrielle Kinney
Okay, I'm just gonna say it.
Dani Moonstar
Gabi, it's almost midnight. What could possibly be so urgent?
Gabrielle Kinney
We need to talk about Laura.
Specifically, Laura and Carrie.
Jubilee
Oh here we go.
Pixie
I'm getting popcorn. 🍿
Gabrielle Kinney
Don't act like you haven't noticed.
Rahne Sinclair
Noticed what, exactly?
Gabrielle Kinney
How my big sister turns into a completely different person around Carrie.
Like...have you seen the way she looks at her?
Pixie
Gabi, I think everyone has seen.
Jubilee
Girl, that's not a soft spot. That's a full-on gravitational pull.
Emily Bright
Laura actually listens to her. Like, genuinely listens. Not just the 'I'm tolerating your existence' listening she does with the rest of us.
Gabrielle Kinney
EXACTLY.
And Carrie? Queen of resting bitch face? Who's sarcastic to literally everyone including Professor Xavier?
Turns into a puppy around Laura.
Yukio
She does. It's almost nauseating.
Almost.
Dani Moonstar
...I'm not saying you're wrong, but I am saying it's 11:47 and we have training in the morning.
Gabrielle Kinney
Dani. Come on.
You're telling me you haven't noticed how Carrie's whole entire vibe shifts when Laura walks in the room?
Rahne Sinclair
She does stop snarling.
Peni Parker
She also stops making those...cutting comments.
The ones that make everyone else want to crawl under the nearest table.
Gabrielle Kinney
See?! Peni gets it!
So I'm not crazy, right?
