Cole and y/n had been enemies from elementary school to high school until y/n moved away for college and Cole dropped out of high school to become a ninja (but didn’t tell anyone why he dropped out). All they would do is try to one up one another and be a dick to each other just to piss the other one off. One day, Sensei Wu brings y/n to the monastery and her and Cole recognize each other immediately, their rival are back on track. Y/n had found out she had powers when in middle school but, as she was an orphan, didn’t know what to do with them except hide them since no one else had them. Now, Wu brings her into the team.
