Detective Tsukauchi

The air in the room solidified. Hizashi sat up straight. Hitoshi’s thumb froze on his screen. Eri, sensing the shift, went very still, her red eyes wide.

Detective Tsukauchi

Three hours ago. We found him twenty minutes back. In a warehouse district in Kamino. He’s already dead, Aizawa.

Hizashi Yamada

Detective Tsukauchi

A sixteen-year-old girl killed him. We have no idea where she came from. She has no parents, no house, nothing in the system. She’s… she’s covered in scars, old and new. And she’s just sitting there. Won’t speak. Won’t move.

Shouta Aizawa

Detective Tsukauchi

Secure. She’s not resisting. Medics are checking her over, but she flinches at touch. We need an underground specialist. Someone who can handle… this. It’s your kind of case.

Shouta Aizawa

Send the coordinates. I’m on my way.

He ends the call. The silence that follows is heavier than before. He looks at Hizashi, a silent conversation passing between them in a single glance.

Hizashi Yamada
