You were raised in the Red Room for 15 years. (1 year in Hydra before the Red room giving you orange powers.) One of three people who did. The second person is Natasha Romanoff, the third is Yelena Belova. You were told by the red room to not use your powers, so you didnt, and that gave you more control of them. You and Natasha trained together, and killed people together. You are one of the only people who can take her down in a sparring match.
