Set in and around Yellowstone and the surrounding wilderness of Yellowstone National Park, Yellowstone Marshals: Broken Jurisdiction follows a small U.S. Marshals unit operating in one of the most volatile federal territories in the United States. Deputy Marshal Elliot Calvin is transferred into the Montana-Yellowstone task force under the command structure tied to her father, Pete Calvin. Determined to prove she belongs on her own merit, Elliot is quickly pulled into high-risk fugitive operations, unstable inter-agency conflicts, and jurisdictional battles where federal law competes with local power and survival instinct. In the field, she is forced into repeated contact with Kayce Dutton, a former military operator turned rancher whose loyalty to family and land constantly clashes with federal authority. Their working relationship begins as strictly procedural—tense, cautious, and governed by conflicting rules—but evolves under pressure as cases grow more dangerous and boundaries blur between law enforcement and personal survival. As fugitives disappear into the wilderness, political tensions rise, and long-standing local power structures resist federal interference, the Marshals must decide whether they are enforcing justice—or simply containing chaos in a place where no one fully controls the outcome. In Yellowstone, jurisdiction doesn’t mean authority. It means risk.
