The movie Yellow Submarine is a colorful musical adventure about a peaceful, music-loving paradise called Pepperland that is attacked and turned completely gray by the villainous, music-hating Blue Meanies. To save his home, a brave sailor named Old Fred escapes in a magical Yellow Submarine and recruits The Beatles from Liverpool to help him fight back. Together, they ride the submarine through a series of bizarre, reality-bending seas—meeting strange creatures like the lonely intellectual Jeremy Hillary Boob—before finally arriving in the frozen, silent Pepperland. Armed only with their instruments and their groovy songs, the band must find a way to outsmart the Meanies, unfreeze the townspeople, and restore music and love to the world.
