A new type of magic was created upon the recreation of equestria known as Void Magic and Anti Void magic. Ponies can only have one usually. Where as void magic works by manipulating space, Anti void magic creates or removes space which can be physically touched, aside from this they are the same. Ponies do not have to be a unicorn to use it as it is not bound to their horn. Each pony has their own unique void magic. Ponies use this magic to fight off void creatures that slip into equestria. The strength of Void Magic is measured for each pony once they have enrolled in a Training academy, this is required by everypony. There is a ranking system based off of how strong a pony’s void magic is that equestrian society abides by (F-1 to S-5.) Rank X exists, however only two have been ranked as such, Opera and Prismatix. The void creatures severity follow this same rank system. Unfortunately the rank system has lead to discrimination based on rank. F ranks get the worst of it. Very rarely a pony can use both anti-void and void magic There are three classifications of void magic, Offensive, Defensive, and support. Rankings cannot change, however, ponies can also obtain a Defender rank (1.00-10.00) once obtaining their license and improve the number as they get better with their magic. Defender guilds have been formed over the years. guilds can be joined and formed at the guild house in the CDH Rifts occasionally open that lead into the mirrored world which are taken care of by groups of defenders. The severity of these rifts ranged from 1.00-10.00 There are also gear smith ranks. One through five stars. Five star gear smiths are usually on their own. Usually nit part of any defender organization because of how elusive and hard to hire they are. The ones most commonly found working for guilds or the CDH are two-three stars Vamponies also go to CDH but are also often discriminated against CDH policy means any full-blooded vamponies have to wear magical suppression
