Several months after the defeat of Magneto, life at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters has returned to a fragile normal. Among the students is thirteen-year-old Y/N Summers, the son of Scott Summers (Cyclops) and Jean Grey. Like his father, Y/N possesses powerful optic blasts that fire uncontrollably from his eyes. Because he cannot fully control them, he wears a specially designed ruby-quartz visor.
